An interview with British fashion photographer, L e o n M a r k
Stylecrush: Tell us a little bit about yourself !
Leon: I'm a fashion & Art photographer, have been shooting for magazines such as Dazed & Confused, I-D, L'Officiel Hommes, Commons&Sense Man, Fanzine 137, Candy, EY! Magazine, Hero, living right now in London.

Stylecrush: Why did you become a photographer ?
Leon: I was always interested in art and film, from studying film I moved into photography and into fashion photography from being younger being obssesed with all fashion magazines.
Stylecrush: Which one item of equipment would you say is the most important to you ?
Leon: Well, I don't really have a certain camera that I use as I change a lot, so I would say lighting, as thats the one thing that can really change your photograph.

Stylecrush: What is the best way to find work as a fashion and beauty photographer?
Leon: To get a small collection of your work together that shows your own style and just start to show it around to people.

Stylecrush: What do you love the most about your job?
Leon: Traveling and meeting new people on shoots Is the best aspect on it.
Stylecrush: Where do you typically shoot?
Leon: There is no set place, I do like outdoor locations, just something that fits the mood of the shoot.
Stylecrush: How would you describe your shooting style?
Leon: I try and create a story or a mood to the photos and think about the model rather than straight away tyring to show the clothes in the photo, I think everything should come together as an image.
Stylecrush: How do you feel about digitally enhancing photos?
Leon: I think its fine, it can be done really well, I use enhancments for taking out dust from images etc, I don't change anything on colors or manlipuate the image but when its done well it can look really nice.

Leon: My Leather biker jacket
